Hi chicago fiber artists!!! Join me for a fun yarn swap on Monday, November 17th at Elevate Coffee in Boystown at 6:30 PM
A yarn swap is a fun way to trade your extra yarn with other fiber lovers! Bring yarn you no longer need and exchange it for something new-to-you. It’s a great way to refresh your stash and find inspiration. Spinning fiber is also welcome!
INSTRUCTIONS:
Bring clean, unused yarn (NWT) or partially used yarn from your stash.
Please make sure skeins are free of pet hair, smoke, and odors.
Partial skeins and leftovers are welcome — just label the weight and approximate yardage.
Use tags or sticky notes to list:
Fiber content (e.g., 100% wool, cotton blend, acrylic, etc.)
Weight (e.g., DK, worsted, bulky)
Yardage or grams remaining
Brand and colorway (if known)
When you arrive, your yarn will be sorted and you will receive tickets to trade in for new yarns depending on what/how much you bring.
Scrap table will be a freebie table! :-)
bring a bag to carry all your fun new yarn home!
Free entry but RSVP so I know how many people to expect! (spots are somewhat limited)
